Adam walks out of Jillian's with a bit of mistletoe pinned to his jacket and a smile on his face. He counts a wad of crumpled up bills as he makes his way through the parking lot to a black sedan. The window rolls down, the money goes in, and Adam keeps walking by as if nothing happened.
The car slowly pulls out and vanishes into the distance as Adam wanders towards the river. He looks over the city in front of him, and then the reflection it cast on the water. The city just went through some major changes on the surface, but nothing changed underneath. Not yet anyways. He's had his fun for the night and it was time to get to work.
